2006-01-01 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ is believed to have originally been built for an unidentified mortuary in Tacoma, Washington, where it is said to have served for ca. 50 years. Around 1984, it was purchased by a private party in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where it was installed in a trailer home. When the owners planned on moving to a house boat, they offered the instrument for sale for $3,000.00 (U.S.). It was purchased by the Coerbers in 1989 for $2,750.00 and installed by them in their rural Everett home. -Database Manager

NOTES
This organ originally been built for the Cassady & Allen Mortuary in
Tacoma, and was believed to have been there for 50 years.

Ca. 1984, it was purchased by a private party in Vancouver, B.C., Canada where it was
installed in a trailer home. When the owners planned on moving to a house boat, they
offered the instrument for sale for $3,000.00 (U.S.).

It was purchased by Dennis & Carol Coerber of rural Everett (near Snohomish) in 1989
for $2,750.00, and was installed in their home by them, whereafter it was tuned by 
Herb Heustis of Point Roberts, WA. and Vancouver, B.C.

The organ was relocated to the home of Ken and Dolores Norton in May of 2010.
