2021-12-07 - The church closed in 2005 and the congregation merged into Emmanuel Lutheran Church, just down the street. -Jeff Scofield

2024-09-11 - Transfiguration Lutheran merged with Emmanuel Lutheran (150 N. Hanover St., Pottstown, PA) in 2005 and the building was sold to an African American congregation, Invictus Ministries. Invictus Ministries sold the building in 2024 to a developer who will convert the building into apartments. All of the pipework was removed in August of 2024 and it is currently being stored at Emmanuel Lutheran, Pottstown.
