Notes

2006-02-17 - Identified through on-line information from Todd Gresick. -- Originally designed by William H. Barnes of Evanston, Illinois, this organ replaced another pipe organ, presumably by Kilgen, when the church was built ca. 1925. Some alterations made by Wicks during the church renovation in 1994: original Great Quint 2 2/3' (replaced with new 2' Principal) and Mixture III (replaced with higher pitched stop), Choir Dolcan 8' (replaced with 4' Spitzflute), Choir Viola Pomposa (replaced by 4' Principal) moved to Swell in place of Salicional, 12 bass pipes added to Choir Schalmei 8' (originally TC) and 12 new 16' bass pipes added to Swell Trompette outside of Swell box). All of the unused original pipework is in storage. New pedal board installed by H. A. Howell Company of Sterling, Illinois (February 2006). -Database Manager

2012-06-09 - Updated through online information from Todd Gresick. -- Two blank stop knobs in the Choir division have been utilized to play the Pedal Gemshorn 16' and the Swell Voix Celeste with the Viola together as two ranks on one knob. Also, the 2' stop in this division has been changed from the Gedeckt, to play the Spitzflute rank instead. The knob is now labeled Nachthorn 2' -Database Manager
