2016-10-26 - Updated through online information from Scot Huntington. <br>An original installation in Albany's Westminster Presbyterian Church, the organ was sold to Dr. Older when the church elected not to restore the organ and to replace it with an imitation instrument. The instrument was modified to fit in the Doctor's private residence with the exception of the Pedal Violone which would not fit, and was sold. The Westminster church's electronic began to malfunction within only twenty years of its installation, the church began to explore its options for replacement and decided they again wished to acquire a pipe organ. The issue of a new organ was forced when the electronic failed completely, and when the opportunity to reacquire their original pipe organ presented itself, the Westminster organ committee jumped at the offer, and the church bought its organ back from Dr. Older. Following restorative repairs and slight enlargement by the Austin Organ Company, the Skinner was reinstalled in its original chambers. -Database Manager
