2006-06-15 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This was an electrification and rebuild of the church's existing ca. 1905 W.W. Kimball Co. tubular-pneumatic organ. A new console was provided. The pedal compass was increased by two notes from 30 to 32. A 14-pipe extension was added to the original Pedal 16' Bourdon. And chimes were added. The new console had a full complement of inter- and intra-manual couplers as well as blank tablets for future additions. The congregation later ceased functions, and the building became the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. It is presumed that the organ was removed around this time. Its subsequent disposition is unknown. -Database Manager
