2006-10-25 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ was originally built for the [New] Joy Theatre in Vernonia, OR. It was installed there by C. M. "Sandy" Balcom. it served for only 8 years before being relocated in 1936 by Balcom and Vaughan to Queen Anne Baptist Church in Seattle "as is" but minus the traps and percussions. It served here for 55 years and was then offered for sale. It was purchased by the Werries for $300.00 and was removed by Dale. The console graces the living room, and plans are to build the chamber in the garage with the chamber opening into the living room. -Database Manager
