Notes

2006-10-25 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This is one of only four Aeolian theatre organs ever built, and one of the two that were installed in Oregon. Both were installed by C. M. "Sandy" Balcom. The other, also a 2/6, was installed in the Columbia Theatre in St. Helens, Oregon. The Vernonia organ served only 8 years before it was moved by Balcom and Vaughan to Queen Anne Baptist Church in Seattle "as is" but minus the traps and percussions. It served there for 55 years before being acquired by Dale and Kathy Werries of Kenmore, WA. for $300.00 - who have it in their home and are restoring it. -Database Manager
