Oak on the other hand, they eat for breakfast, unless it is specially treated. ...<br> The Walker at Kamehameha School Chapel has a case which is made entirely of Koa, a local wood. As a point of interest, while oak and mahogany may sell for about $4-6.00 per board ft., Koa sells for about $40.00 per board ft. But when you own Koa forests like the Kamehameha Schools, this is not really an issue. It is also used for furniture, and is quite beautiful ... . -Database Manager
2013-06-25 - Updated through online information from anthony meloni. -- I have been maintaining this organ since 2001. I have performed a substantial amount of restorative work to the organ, including replacement of sagging pipe resonators, and continuous maintenance. I will be removing all pipework in March 2014 for a thorough cleaning, and releathering of offset chests. -Database Manager
