2006-11-02 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This is the third pipe organ in King Chapel - having replaced the previous 1931 Kimball. The organ cost approx. $115,000.00. The consultant was Dr. Robert Baker. The organ arrived in three truck loads in mid-August 1967, and was ready for use by the end of September. The inaugural recital was given by college organist Dr. Robert Triplett on Tuesday, November 14, 1967 at 8:00 p.m. -Database Manager
