2018-06-08 - The Great is located under the horizontal reeds, with the Crown Positive above, and the Pedal towers on either side. The Swell is behind the Great. Three wedge bellows fed by two blowers supply the 3" wind pressure for the instrument.
The organ is named in honor of Arvella Schuller, wife of the founder of California's Crystal Cathedral, who is a native of Newkirk, Iowa, and who is a former church organist.
Dedication recitals were played by Karel Paukert on November 28, 1989; Rodney Jiskoot on January 28, 1990; and MaryLou Wielenga on April 3, 1990. -Database Manager
