2006-11-28 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Organ originally built for Leole Methodist Episcopal Church in Leola, Pennsylvania at a cost of $30,000.00. It was the H. M. Stauffer Memorial Organ. It was later removed and placed in storage in a warehouse. 1973 Purchased by Mr. Bill Clark who had it installed by Glen Oment of Lancaster, Pennsylvania in Mr. Clarks' skating rink near Pottstown, Pennsylvania - the CC Skate Ranch. The original chimes were not purchased by Mr. Clark. 1976, organ purchased by Susan Miller for $1,500.00. Moved organ to Richland in 1979. Pipes in basement. Console in living room with the Vox Humana unwinded and atop the console for display. 8' Trompette packed away in storage. As playing - the organ is 5 registers, 23 speaking stops, 5 ranks, and 401 pipes. -Database Manager

NOTES
This organ was originally built for Leola Methodist Episcopal Church in Leola, PA. for
the sum of $30,000.00. It was the H.M. Stauffer Memorial organ.  It was later removed
from the church and placed in storage in a warehouse.

In 1973 it was purchased by Mr. Bill Clark who had it installed in his skating rink near
Pottstown, PA. It was installed at the CC Skate Ranch in April of 1973 by Glen Oment of
Lancaster, PA. The original chimes were not purchased from the warehouse by Mr. Clark.

The organ was purchased by Susan Miller in 1976 for $1,500.00. She moved to Richland,
WA. with the organ in 1979. The instrument is presently installed in the basement of the
Miller home. The console is in the living room upstairs with the Vox Humana chest and 
pipes unwinded, and atop the console for display. The 8' Trompette is packed away in
storage.

The Pedal to Manual combination couplers take the form of On/Off pistons located atop the
left keycheek of each manual. The Swell 8' Quintadena is synthetic, and is derived from
the 8' Stopped Flute and 2-2/3' Nazard. The 8' Oboe is also synthetic, and is derived from
the 8' Salicional and the 2-2/3' Nazard. As presently installed there are 5 voices, 23
speaking stops, 5 ranks, and 401 pipes playing.
