Installed there by Glen Oment of Lancaster, Pennsylvania in April 1973. 1976, Purchased by Susan Miller for $1,500.00. Relocated with family to Richland, Washington. -Database Manager
2013-05-28 - Updated by James R. Stettner, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- The cost of the organ was $30,000.00. It was the H. M. Stauffer Memorial Organ. According to the "History Corner" of the church's website, "In 1972, it was voted to remodel rather than to demolish and rebuild the church, built in 1907. On September 26, 1972, the work began." <br>The Wicks organ was placed in storage in a warehouse. In 1973 it was purchased by Mr. Bill Clark who had it installed by Glen Oment of Lancaster, Pennsylvania in Mr. Clarks' skating rink near Pottstown, Pennsylvania - the CC Skate Ranch. The original chimes were not purchased by Mr. Clark. <br>In 1976, organ purchased by Susan Miller for $1,500.00. It moved with her to Richland, Washington in 1979 and was installed in the home. -Database Manager
