Notes

2006-11-28 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was an electrification of the existing 1914 tubular-pneumatic Wicks organ. Despite the Balcom and Vaughan, the work was actually done by Clele d'Autrey of Portland, Oregon. The organ was electrified, a new console was provided, and the original Swell 8' Stopped Diapason was placed on a new unit chest, expanded to 97 pipes playing at 16, 8, 4, 2-2/3, and 2' pitches on the Swell, and borrowed to the Pedal at 16' and 8' pitches. -Database Manager

2012-12-31 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- While the new pedalboard compass is 32-notes, the two original Pedal ranks were not extended and still play for only 30 notes. -Database Manager

NOTES
The original Wicks instrument had 14 voices, 14 stops, 14 ranks, and 792 pipes,
and played by means of tubular-pneumatic key and stop action to ventil chests.

The Balcom and Vaughan rebuild was an electrification of the original chest
primaries, but no new ranks were added. However, the original Swell 8' Stopped
Diapason was placed on new Balcom and Vaughan Kilgen-style E-P unit chests with
added extension pipes and made to play at 16', 8', 4', 2-2/3', and 2' pitches.
A new Balcom and Vaughan console was provided with an increased complement of
pistons as well as full inter-divisional and intra-manual couplers. While the
console nameplate says Balcom and Vaughan, most of the work on this project was
sub-contracted to Portland, Oregon organ builder Clele d'Autry.
