2006-12-27 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- Originally installed in a previous building at which location the Great and Pedal were arranged in a functional display at the center directly behind the platform. Pictured in the February 1, 1955 issue of The Diapason, No. 3, Whole No. 543, pg. 3. The organ has a prepared-for Positiv division which may have been intended to be electronic. One of the expression pedals is labeled "Electronic." -Database Manager
2008-06-11 - Updated through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
No information. -Database Manager
2016-10-18 - Updated through online information from Joe O'Donnell.
Manual windchests are pitman chests incorporating some unit actions for duplexing. In the present building the organ chamber is a loft cantilevered over the choir seating. The back and both sides of the console were made inaccessible, so the setterboard was repositioned behind the knee panel. As part of a building renovation the organ will have its electrical system upgraded in early 2017 by Bond Organ Builders, Inc. -Database Manager

In its original location, the Great and Pedal were exposed to view, centered behind the pulpit. The Swell was hidden from view to one side by drapes spanning the width of the front of the church. A picture of this installation may be seen on page 3 in the February 1, 1955 issue of The Diapason in an advertisement for Aeolian-Skinner. The Pos. on Sw. and Pos. on Gr. finger pistons and toe studs are single-acting, and also register the Unison Off for the manual to which the Positiv is being coupled. If the Positiv on Great and Positiv on Pedal coupler tablets are registered by hand, they do not activate the related Unison Off tablet. It is not clear what the Electronic Inactive coupler tablet or Electronic expression pedal were intended to control. It may be possible that Aeolian-Skinner was experimenting with electronically-generated voices, and that the Positiv was going to be an electronic division. Rodgers was doing pipe/electronic instruments with Fratelli-Ruffatti in the 50's. Sources: Diapason, (3/543), 2/1/55, p. 3; Extant organ [Received from James R. Stettner 2012-07-04.]
