Notes

2006-12-27 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The Casavant replaced a used, 2/11 1908 Estey that was installed second hand. The Casavant is installed in large chambers across the front which are covered by thick, red, velvet drapes which seriously dampen tonal egress and room acoustics. -Database Manager

2012-03-08 - Updated through online information from Jesse Zylstra. -- Multi-level combination action (a later upgrade to the organ, according to a plaque). A zimbelstern was also added to the instrument. The instrument is also equipped with Maas Cathedral Chimes. Instrument is well maintained and used on a regular basis. The red drapes which were previously installed in the sanctuary that caused the sound to be dampened have been removed. -Database Manager

NOTES
The organ is installed at the front of the church, and is entirely hidden from view
behind heavy red drapes. The console and choir are located in a front, right transept.

The divisions are arranged with the Swell at the lower right and the Choir at the
lower left. The Pedal is over the Choir, and the Great is over the Swell.

The only wooden pipes in the entire organ are those belonging to the Pedal 16' Bourdon.
All other pipework is of spotted metal or zinc. Reed blocks are of lead.

The zimbelstern toestud was added by Balcom and Vaughan in 199_.

The organ cost $35,000.00.
