Notes

2007-02-14 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This is a rebuilt and enlarged Wicks. The Wicks was originally built in 1954 for a Catholic Retreat Center in Utica, New York. The organ became available when the facility was sold to the First Assembly of God. The project consisted of cleaning, various repairs, some modifications to necessary to retro-fit the organ into Riverside's chambers, and tonal additions. -Database Manager

2021-07-11 - In 1986, Bunn=Minnick secured and installed an available 2-manual, 9-rank, 1954 Wicks organ for Riverside UMC. At the time, it was the dream of the church to someday enlarge the organ to three manuals. Pipes and chests from the Wicks organ were retained and revoiced as part of the new 22-rank design, which includes a new visually exposed Great division and casework, Chimes, and Zimbelstern. Bunn=Minnick provided a 3-manual console, fitted with a multi-level combination action and a MIDI system with playback. -Jeff Scofield
