Notes

2007-04-28 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The asymmetrical light oak case is located in the rear gallery. The manuals are of wood. The first 22 pipes of the Great 8' Principal are are in the facade of the main case. the first 8 pipes of the Pedal 8' Floten Principal are in the facade of the attached Pedal case. The Great 8' Trumpet and Swell 8' Schalmey are dead length. The Pedal 16' Fagott resonators are scrolled. The Fagott is half-length. The Schalmey is half-length for the bottom octave, and then 2/3 length for the remainder of the reeds. The first 18 pipes of the Pedal 16' Subbass are on the back wall of the church, about 15' behind the case and about 30' off the vestibule floor. The stoplist and a picture of the organ appeared in the June 1984 issue of The American Organist, Vol. 18, No. 6, pg. 13, "Holtkamp ad." Source: extant organ, August 1995 and subsequent visits. -Database Manager

2016-10-01 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. <br>Faith Lutheran had been an ELCA congregation. ELCA policy on some social issues were a stumbling block for some, who moved that Faith leave the ELCA. Those who withdrew have retained the name Faith Lutheran, but the remaining congregation reorganized as New Hope Lutheran in 2014. -Database Manager
