Notes

2007-04-29 - Identified through on-line information from Jeff Scofield. -- The organ was installed as a 3/42 in 1967 in the sanctuary of Centenary United Methodist. The church merged with First church and the congregation moved into a new Harold Wagoner-designed nave in 1971; the organ was moved by Schantz with no changes. Schantz added a new console in 1999 with prepared-for stops. In 2003, all the prepared-for stops were installed. The church seats over 800 and the congregation numbers over 2,400; thanks to the room and the excellent acoustic, the sanctuary is a favorite concert venue for the city. -Database Manager

2011-05-13 - Updated through on-line information from Jeff Scofield. -- Originally installed in 1966 as 3/41 Schantz Op. 770 in the old sanctuary; moved by Schantz to the new Harold Wagoner-designed sanctuary in 1973; new console in 1999 as Schantz Op. 2187; Op. A2187 was for the addition of 17 ranks of pipe and digital 32' stops. -Database Manager
