2007-07-21 - Identified through information in the <i>2007 Organ Atlas</i>: In use until 1903. Replaced by Steere & Son Opus 518. Steere took the Stevens organ in trade for $150 credit and sold it for the same price to to F.E. Stevens of Indianapolis. -Database Manager
2015-07-13 - According to the <i>Indianapolis Sentinel</i> (April 12, 1868): "It has twenty-eight stops, is thirteen feet wide, fifteen feet deep, and eighteen feet six inches high. It is the largest organ in the city." ["twenty-eight stops" probably included mechanical accessories as well as speaking stops.] -Database Manager
