Notes

2023-02-27 - This organ was still in use by the school when it contracted for a new organ fromJ.W. Steere & Son of Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1903 for the downtown campus. Steere took the instrument in trade for $150.00 credit and sold it for the same price to F.E . Stevens of Indianapolis. The following specification is taken from Steere's contract with Stevens ("twenty-eight stops" in the newspaper article probably included mechanical accessories, as well as speaking stops). -- *2007 OHS Atlas* -Paul R.
