2015-07-17 - Updated through online information from patricia Ingersoll-reid. -- I purchased the console in 1991 from Marion College at auction. At the time, the instruments were still in the Allison home. The Console is handcarved white mahogany that matched the music room. -Database Manager

2023-02-10 - The Music Room contained the Aeolian Company's opus 1186, contracted for on May 27, 19n, at a cost of $25,000, to be housed behind a white mahogany fayade. The instrument was expected to be finished by March 1, 1912. An "Aeolian Music Roll Mechanism" was provided. A subsequent contract on November 27, 19n, enlarged the organ by nine ranks at a cost of $5,000. Also, instead of sixty-one-note manual chests, seventy- three-note chests were to be provided. The instrument was shipped on December 20, 1912. Manual compass was sixty-one notes (CC-c4); pedal compass (flat pedalboard) was thirty notes (CC-fl). The main organ was located in the living room, with the Echo on the third floor. The organ was eventually moved to the chapel of Marian College, Indianapolis, which now owns Riverdale. A new console was provided. -- *2007 OHS Atlas* -Paul R. Marchesano
