2007-09-26 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the electrification and augmentation of the parish's existing 1882 Hook & Hastings, opus 1117. One stop was added to the Great, and three to the Swell. Since the new console had 61 notes, and no extension pipes were added, the top three notes (59-61) were wired-back to repeat the corresponding notes from the previous octave. The new pedalboard was 30 notes, but the two Pedal registers only played for 27 notes. Couplers worked for all 30 notes. The organ was substantially rebuilt by the Faucher Organ Co. of Biddeford, Maine first as their opus 8, and then in 2005 as their opus 37. -Database Manager
