2012-12-07 - Updated through online information from John Igoe. -- On June 15, 1929, the church signed a contract with the Estey Organ Co. of Brattleboro, Vt., for $4,610. Half was to be paid on installation with the remaining amount spread out in six payments of $385 at 6 percent interest. By late December 1933 the note was paid off and the organ dedicated. The organ received an upgrade in the years just before 2012, converting the controls to solid state electronics and adding a new pedal board. Gary and Cheryl Loper performed that upgrade and regularly maintain the organ. -Database Manager
