2012-04-19 - Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- Echo and Antiphonal, above the ceiling in the rear of the room, were destroyed by fire on July 20, 1969; Möller rebuilt the organ in 1970 as 4/57 Op. R-828, with a number of tonal changes, replacing the façade pipes with screens; the console was updated in 1996, at which time the Swell Trompette was replaced; in 2003, a "new ornamental façade" was installed by Eastern Organ Pipes, Inc., to replaced the screens; the organ was renovated by the Hagerstown Organ Company 2005-2007, assisted by Steiner Murphy Organ Co.; some of the reed stops were refurbished by Trivo. -Database Manager
