II Flute Celeste added to Antiphonal upon the death of longtime Organist/Choirmaster Thomas Matthews in 1999. 2012-08-29 - Updated through online information from Harry Spring. -- The 2 rank Flute Celeste in the Antiphonal Division was installed in 1995 as a surprise birthday gift from Mrs. Matthews to Dr. Matthews. It was installed in 1995 with physical work on chests, winding, etc. by Mr. Philip Judkins, and pipe supply, voicing by Mr. Tom Farrell of San Antonio, TX. This work was done just prior to the regional AGO convention held in Tulsa in 1995. The stop was originally on a "Blank" drawknob on the Choir division which was not connected until just prior to the birthday celebration for Dr. Matthews. -Database Manager
