Notes

2008-01-30 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was tonal changes/additions to the organ, cleaning of the pipes and chamber, and the conversion of the console to Peterson solid state. The organ had previously been an entirely 8' instrument. A new 4' Octave replaced the original 8' Dulciana on the Great. A new 4' Flute Octaviante was added to the Swell on a new chest. And the Pedal 16' Bourdon was wired to play as an 8' Bourdon as well, but without 12 extension pipes, it only plays for 20 notes. The original Pedal 16' Violon/8' Cello remained unchanged. The Great has 5 blank stop tablets for future additions. The Swell has 2 blanks, and the Pedal has 4. Documented: January 26, 1995. -Database Manager

NOTES
The organ is installed in a ceiling-level chamber at the rear of the church. The console
is located at the front of the church on the right side with the organist facing across
the chancel and the congregation to the left.

In 199_, Balcom and Vaughan converted the console functions to solid state using Peterson
components. The pipework was removed and cleaned, and the Swell 4' Flute Octaviante was
added. The Great 4' Octave replaced the original 8' Dulciana. The Pedal 8' Bourdon is from
the 16', but no extension pipes were added at this time, so it only plays for 20 notes.
