2008-01-31 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the installation of a used, refurbished Robert Morton theatre organ of undocumented provenance. A new Balcom and Vaughan console replaced the original Morton console. The four ranks were: Diapason, Flute, Dulciana, and Vox Humana. The pipe chamber is in the basement, and speaks up through a tone chute and through a grille in the rear, right corner of the chapel. The console is beside the grille with the organist facing front. The organ was enlarged by Balcom and Vaughan in 1953. -Database Manager
