Of the four buildings on the city block formerly known as the "lower campus" of Brigham Young University (BYU), only the 1892 Education Building remains. The Möller organ was most likely located in College Hall, completed in 1898 adjoining the Education Building. College Hall had an auditorium used for theater and music productions, high school assemblies, and church services. No longer in use, the lower campus buildings were sold by BYU in 1975. The Möller organ was likely removed and parted out before then. Provo City eventually acquired the decaying buildings and a dedicated citizens group eventually prevailed with a plan to restore the Education Building, although the other buildings were razed. Along with the renovated Education (now known as Academy) Building a new city library was completed in 2001. The new library occupies the space where College Hall once stood. -Database Manager
