2016-07-15 - Established in 1867, the school was known as Western Maryland College until 2002 when it was renamed McDaniel College in honor of an alumnus who gave a lifetime of service to the college. -Database Manager
2018-11-21 - Aeolian-Skinner president Joseph S. Whiteford and his father, a prominent Baltimore attorney, were both WMC graduates (1943 and 1906 respectively); in addition to donating the organ for the 800-seat chapel, they also donated the carillon in the chapel tower; the organ console was the 1939 console from Bruton Parish, Williamsburg, rebuilt for this installation. -Database Manager
