2008-08-05 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the addition of a 73-pipe, used 8'/4' Tuba of unknown provenance on new E-P unit chests to the Swell division of the existing W.W. Kimball Co. organ. The facility was sold in 2006, and had to be vacated by end of May 2006. The organ was for sale at a preliminary asking from of $12,500.00. The bid to remove the organ was for $17,000.00. The organ was acquired by St. Aidan's Episcopal Church of Camano Island for $2,800.00 with the intent of combining it with their existing 2/5 unit organ in the future, new church. It was removed in May 2006 by Fr. Bob Dietel and several parishioners guided by Jim Stettner of Seattle. The organ is in storage. The console was subsequently sold for $300.00 to Trinity United Methodist in Port Townsend, Washington for an organ project being done by parishioners at that church. -Database Manager
