2008-09-13 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the installation of a used, 2/4 Wicks of unknown provenance inside the case of the existing, transplanted Geo. H. Ryder tracker, Opus 2, ca. 1871. The extant tracker was gutted for its case. The Wicks/Ryder was later replaced in 1988 by the Wissinger Organ Co. with a transplanted E.W. Lane (Opus 119, 1911) which had been rebuilt by the Stuart Organ Co. as their R-9 in 1975 for First Parish in Byfield, MA. Disposition of the Wicks/Ryder is unknown. -Database Manager
