2006-02-04 - Updated through on-line information from Vincent G. Alukonis. -- The church has been closed for the last decade (at least). From what I understand the Jardine just sits there. Church is supposed to be structurally unsound. -Database Manager
2023-06-10 - Was this the Jardine from their previous location on Atlantic Ave. - which building was originally St. Peter's Protestant Episcopal Church, becoming Second United Presbyterian Church in 1857? The Jardine was built for the Presbyterian congregation, and inherited by Union Baptist when they took-over the building in 1945 when the Presbyterians disbanded. -Jim Stettner
