2018-08-04 - Updated by Edward Zimmerman, who has heard or played the organ.

Casavant 3796 is mixed action, essentially tracker action with a high-pressure Resonance division on EP chests on either side of the mechanical GO-PO-REC. There are 2 consoles: one detached (4-manual), movable, and all-electric; and one mechanical (3-manual) attached to the organ case, slightly inset position. Slider chests pallets on the tracker divisions were also provided with electric pulldowns which automatically engage when movable electric console is used. Stop action is electric, operating slider motors; SSL switching system. Electric console has MIDI system with record and playback; however, there are no digital voices, amps, or speakers. -Database Manager
