Notes

2009-08-22 - Identified through on-line information from Ray Ahrens. -- Incorporates parts of existing organ by Henry Pilcher's Sons. -Database Manager

2022-10-29 - Paraphrased notes from Fr. Robert Scheiblhofer: Several stops of the original 1921 Pilcher were retained when that organ was replaced by the Lewis Organ Company of Council Bluffs, IA. The Great pipework was supplied by a pipe-maker who often supplied pipes for Aeolian-Skinner. This instrument served the parish for many years. When the parish obtained the Casavant Organ from Benson Presbyterian (the Benson congregation was selling their building and the new owners had no use for the organ) the Lewis organ was gifted to Holy Family Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO. -Jim Stettner

2022-10-31 - Updated through inline information from Fr. Robert Scheiblhofer, "Somewhere around 1971 a 12- note extension of the Swell Trumpet was added for the Pedal. It was a mess - high tin content resonators which had folded over on themselves by the time I got there in 1994." -Jim Stettner
