Notes

2010-10-05 - Identified through online information from Chad Boorsma. -- The organ was originally built (1924) and enlarged (1928) by Wicks Organ Company. Bernard Bolt rebuilt the organ. His work included a new Klann console, as well as relocation of the Antiphonal division from the ceiling to a chamber behind the back balcony wall. The organ was further renovated in the late 1990's by Bill Swem who used materials supplied by Wicks to make the organ solid state. The congregation underwent a restart in 2000 and began using the name Common Ground Community Church. -Database Manager

2015-04-07 - Congregation disbanded in 2014. Plans are for the building to be demolished. -Database Manager

2024-02-29 - I visited the organ on February 24, 2024. The organ has been heavily vandalized, church closed. There is no Oboe in the Swell. Basses on echo on flues have been cut off and capped. Great 2 2/3 is independent and not original to the organ. Organ is not functional and in bad condition. Received from: Joseph Granger on 2024-02-24 -Paul R. Marchesano
