Notes

2011-11-15 - Identified through online information from William Dunklin. -- In the late 1920's Loew's built 5 grand theatres in the New York Area billed as their "Wonder Theatres." Each was equipped with a nearly identical 4/23 Robert Morton "Wonder Organ." The organ currently installed at the Arlington Theatre, Santa Barbara, was originally installed in the Loew's Jersey Theatre, Jersey City, NJ in 1929. It was removed from the Loew's Jersey around 1970. The Arlington also had lost its original organ. When the Jersey organ came up for sale, it was restored and installed at the Arlington. -Database Manager
