Notes

2012-06-03 - Identified through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- Tonal alterations to Opus 8781 (1955). The church is considered the Mother Church of Black Methodism in Marland. -Database Manager

2017-05-04 - Updated by Steven Bartley, who maintains the organ.

The organ stands behind a mid 19th century painted pine facade, which is in the "Byzantine" style. A nice photo can be found on the following web page https://www.google.com/search?q=sharp+street+methodist+church+baltimore&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjnzJDQ4KTTAhXHLSYKHclXDNkQ_AUICSgC&biw=1536&bih=732#imgrc=m-STjWbFHR9ysM:
Research indicates that the facade is probably by Pomplitz and came from a Baltimore Synagogue which had moved to a new location around the same time as the Sharp St congregation moved to this, their new building, in 1898 -Database Manager
