2012-10-05 - Identified through online information from Kurt Heyer. -- Relocated from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Redford, Michigan, and installed with tonal modifications and a new console. No information about the installation there. When the chancel area was remodeled, the organ was moved from a room behind the altar to a room in the back of the balcony. This building was sold to Kingdom Builder's Christian Church in the first decade of the 2000s. I purchased the instrument from Kingdom Builder's in April 2010. The organ was removed by Kurt Heyer, David Hufford and Elgin Clingaman of Renaissance Pipe Organ Company of Ann Arbor, MI. I installed the instrument in the basement of my condo in December 2011. Unable to fit the original Moller console through the doors, the instrument plays from a Kilgen Harmonic Ensemble console fitted with a Syndyne LS5600 Solid State Keying System. Due to height restrictions in the basement, I substituted the the bottom octave of the Principal with mitered Gemshorn pipes from Moller opus 11492 and the bottom octave of the Gedeckt with mitered pipes also from Moller opus 11492. Being conscious of volume issues in a condo, I replaced the trumpet with 61 1920s vintage Casavant Rohrflute (tc) pipes of metal construction with wood stoppers. -Database Manager
