2013-01-22 - This is a rebuild of an existing organ. Identified by Jeff Scofield, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- The contract was for rebuilding Moller Op. 8556, which was badly damaged in a 1966 sanctuary fire; a new 3-manual console was also added at this time; organ combined by Metroplex Organ Co. in 1978 with 1940 4/73 Casavant Op. 1641 from Northwestern University, Evanston IL; with E. A. Kelley as consultant, pipework was replaced and pipework added, bringing the organ to 131 ranks. -Database Manager
