2013-01-23 - This is a rebuild of an existing organ. Identified by Jeff Scofield, using information found in Factory specifications. -- Originally installed as Moller Op. 2992 in 1920; rebuilt as Moller Op. R-427 with a new 3-manual console in 1952; rebuilt again by Moller in 1967 as Op. R-776; replaced by Noack 3/44 Op. 98 installed in the rear gallery in 1982; Cathedral closed due to financial reasons July 31, 2012; the Noack was relocated by Noack in 2013 to Hertz Hall, University of California at Berkeley. -Database Manager
