Notes

2013-10-09 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Jeremy Horth, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- The organ case is in a modest yet very modern fashion with exposed facade pipes. The organ is located in the chancel in the front of the cruciform shaped Gothic inspired sanctuary dating to 1914. The organ has some grillework but the grilles do not conceal the whole instrument. Prior to this organ's installation in 1974 the church had a Hook and Hastings Pipe organ which at that time when that organ was installed new in the church (in a previous facility) in the mid to late 1880s the church was called Second Presbyterian Church. -Database Manager
