2013-10-28 - Organ relocated without any change. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in David Junchen's <em>The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, an Illustrated History</em>, p. 613. -- Wurlitzer opus 99 originally installed at the T & D Theatre, Oakland California in 1916 was subsequently moved by Wurlitzer to the then-new United Artists Theatre in Berkeley, California. Opus 99 was removed from the United Artists around 1973. The theatre still exists, now cut into 7 auditoriums. -Database Manager
2016-01-01 - Updated through online information from Eric Schmiedeberg. <br>Theatre Historical Society Historian Steve Levin owned this organ and was involved with its removal in 1974. He told me personally that the 32' Diaphone octave did not come over from its original home, the T&D Theatre. They went down with the building when it was demolished. <br>The Accompaniment and Great manuals were 61-note compass. However, the Solo manual had a 37-note compass. -Database Manager
