Notes

2014-02-24 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in David Junchen The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, an Illustrated History, p.662. -- Wurlitzer's opus 1368 was a Style B-Special meaning a stock model B with something customized for this particular installation. The 3 ranks were Flute, String and Vox Humana in a single chamber. The Style B was Wurlitzer's smallest organ that came equipped with a horseshoe console. The Lyric still stands, though it has not operated as a theatre in decades. The organ is not here - its fate unknown. -Database Manager
