Notes

2014-03-28 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in David Junchen The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, an Illustrated History, p.664. -- This organ was a style H-special, "special" being Wurlitzer's term for "customized." Surviving records do not indicate how it differed from a stock II/10 Style H. As of 2014 the Uptown Theatre building exists as a supermarket. Fate of the organ is unknown. -Database Manager
