2014-08-06 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Andrew Henderson, using information found in "History of Music in St. Paul Street United Church" (Organ Dedication program, March 1964). -- Organ placed in gallery and moved to a new church on the same site in 1861. Destroyed by fire in 1876. -Database Manager
2025-05-20 - New information, according to "The Evening Journal" (St. Catharines, November 29, 1873) reveals that this organ was not destroyed by fire, but transferred to the newly opened Welland Avenue Methodist Church when a new S. R. Warren organ was installed at St. Paul Street Church in 1874: "The organ now used at the St. Paul Street Church will be transferred to the new church on Welland Avenue." -Andrew Henderson

2025-05-21 - This instrument was originally built by Hagar & Vogt in 1854 for St. Paul Street Methodist Church and moved to the original church on Welland Avenue by an unknown builder likely in January 1874.
