2014-08-28 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by Shawn P. Keith, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- Originally built for First United Methodist Church, Alpena MI, ca. 1905. New console by Hillgreen-Lane ca. 1941 and converted from tubular-pneumatic to electro-pneumatic control. Relocated to their new facility ca. 1972. Given to St. John Lutheran in Cheboygan MI, 1975, and replaced by Casavant Opus 3293. Dispersed and broken up for parts in 2004, replaced by a larger instrument by B.K. Kellogg & Associates, LLC. -Database Manager
