Notes

2014-09-16 - "Opening recital was on 17 November 1912."
"The blower was replaced in the 1980s, but no other significant changes have been made to the organ. It is extant and in use."
Murray M. Harris and Organ Building in Los Angeles 1894-1913 by David Lennox Smith, ed. by Orpha Ochse. 2005: Organ Historical Society -Database Manager

2016-07-06 - Updated through online information from David Beatty.
This information is based on personal access to and playing of the organ today (June 29, 2016). While the current specifications on the OHS database state "Adjustable Combinations", I have yet to discover how to reset them; I've sent requests for possible information to other local organists. -Database Manager

2017-06-18 - Updated by David Beatty, who has heard or played the organ.
Combination pistons are present (3 for Swell and 3 for Great) but are nonfunctional. -Database Manager

2018-06-07 - Updated by Eric Fricke, who has heard or played the organ.
When I played the organ on 6/1/2018, I found the organ in reasonably good condition. All notes are playable, the combination action works (though I'm not sure how to/if one can reset it), and the organ is tuned reliably once a year (confirmed with local organ tech). Few (half dozen or less) pipes have had some crude repair (gaff tape, etc). Some windlines, mainly to the console, are not in the best shape (duct tape and glue repairs). Each rank is exquisite - a truly beautiful gem of an organ. Building owners express strong interest in using and maintaining the organ. -Database Manager
