2015-05-30 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- This organ replaced an electronic whose console shell, pedalboard, and expression & crescendo pedals were retained. The entire instrument is under expression except for the bottom six pipes of the Pedal 16' Sub Bass and pipes 1-11 of the 8' Principal - both of which form the facade. -Database Manager

Crescendo (bal.) NOTES The organ is installed in a center chamber at the front of the room. The 3-sectional façade contains 17 pipes arranged: 3 – 11 – 3. The two outer sets of 3 wood pipes each are notes 1 – 6 of the Pedal 16' Sub Bass extension. The center section of metal pipes is notes 1 – 11 of the 8' Principal. The church's previous instrument was an old analog Rodgers electronic. The present instrument uses the console shell, pedalboard, and two pedal movements (expression & crescendo) from that organ. The entire instrument is enclosed and expressive except for the 17 façade pipes. The console sits in fixed position on the right with the organist facing across the chancel, – the congregation to their left.
