2015-10-26 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, based on information learned from a conversation with Robert Watrous (current organ owner).<br><br>This organ is dated 1918 based upon factory worker signatures and dates found inside the regulator bellows during restoration by Bob Watrous - grandson of the owner of the Star Theatre, Fred A. Watrous.<br><br>However, the purchase/acquisition date was ca. 1920. The organ was stored in the theatre behind the movie screen after the Marr & Colton was installed in 1925. In 1947 it was moved to the Watrous home in Forest Grove. In 1980, it was moved to the Richland, WA. home of Robert Watrous. -Database Manager
