Notes

2015-10-27 - Organ relocated without any change. Identified by James R. Stettner, based on personal knowledge of the organ.

This organ was originally installed in the Star (later, Grove) Theatre in Forest Grove, Oregon. This organ is dated 1918 based upon factory worker signatures and dates found inside the regulator bellows during restoration by Bob Watrous - grandson of the owner of the Star Theatre, Fred A. Watrous.

However, the purchase/acquisition date was ca. 1920. The organ was stored in the theatre behind the movie screen after the Marr & Colton was installed in 1925. In 1947 it was moved to the Watrous home in Forest Grove. In 1980, it was moved to the Richland, WA home of Robert Watrous. -Database Manager
